A horse race across the Arabian Desert that an American enters. Guess who wins? RIGHT! The American! What a surprise! I never saw that coming. Other than that it's a movie where the Arabs are surprisingly white, British women are snobbish, and there is a funny goat herder. Other than being very historically incorrect, very unlikely, and not well directed, it's a great movie. Go see it, you'll have some fun, maybe a laugh. And if you like LOTR, well then I bet you're already at the theatre.
